Police are investigating a case of animal cruelty in Perry County.

Officers said that on Jan. 12 around 10:30 a.m., 44-year-old Leroy Blank, Jr. of Ickesburg shot and killed his neighbor's dog when it went onto his property.

Blank is being charged with cruelty to animals and criminal mischief.

I have no sympathy for the dogs owner. Keep control of your pets and this stuff would never happened. Who wants someones ratty dog pooping or whatever in there yard

It happened on Blanks Lane in Ickesburg. Leroy even owns the road.

I wish my neighbor's dog would come over and chase my other neighbor's cat out of my yard.

One thing the news reports ~HE SHOT HIS NEIGHBORS DOG ~ now any reporter ,not even a journalist would / should be able to figure there's more to the story .9 of 10 time no ones gonna shoot the neighbors dog on a first or second offence ,What was the dog doing? endangering person or livestock or damaging property?? these leaning reports with limited info are the backbone of todays media.
